Early May Carrabelle and forgotten coast fishing report 5-4-24

RT_COLLAGE

We have finally got into some better weather patterns after tough winter. Vern and larry from Minnesota went out for a trip with me and had great weather and great fishing. The trout were definitely cooperative as were a few redfish. All day long we fished popping corks with Berkeley gulp shrimp, although we did throw a few soft plastics. Lots of short fish were released and ended up with a nice catch of keepers. There is alot of life showing up, sharks, turtles and the seasonal species tarpon, cobia and triple tail are making there presence known.  As we continue into May and June the fishing will be excellent
