59th Apalachicola Seafood Festival. November 4 & 5, 2022
The Festival is held at the mouth of the Apalachicola river at Apalachicola’s Battery Park. The festival features seafood, musical entertainment arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events.
November is one of the best months for fishing on the forgotten coast. The summer heat is gone, making for more comfortable days on the water. The fishing is as good as it gets for speckled trout and redfish. Whether you are a fly fisherman or light tackle enthusiast, there are plenty of opportunities for both. Sight fishing for redfish on the flats and working potholes in beautiful grass flats makes for a great day on the water. If your planning on being in town for the seafood festival or anytime this fall, consider spending some time out on the water, it’s the best way to see carrabelle and Apalachicola on the forgotten coast.
